A Letter from Lynda

These are some exciting times for the Leadership Omaha Alumni Association. As you can tell by the look and feel of this newsletter, things are changing!

Last month we unveiled the new corporate branding look for the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. This month that evolution continues with this more dynamic, interactive LOAA newsletter.

Not only has this newsletter evolved aesthetically, but is now being produced by folks such as you, current and past participants of the LO program. I would like to thank Shannon Wallace of Quanta Basics for taking on this challenge.

Our plan is for this newsletter to be a vehicle to the also-improving LOAA Web site. More than simply a summary of events, this newsletter should become another tool for people such as you, LOAA members, to continue your LO experience and communicate with fellow LOAA members on what is important to you and for Omaha.

We want LOAA to work for you. We are planning more networking events and have added two-way communication tools like opinion polls and letters to the editor to help you continue to be the active, participative community stewards you all are.

We recently held the first LOAA night out at the Ballpark. LOAA members and their family enjoyed a wonderful evening enjoying the Omaha Royals take on the Nashville Sounds.

This summer we have the annual AGTOUR – check out more information in this newsletter.

More and more special events are planned so please stay tuned. You all continue to be the best of the best in Omaha.

Sincerely,

Leadership Omaha

  LOAA Night at the Royals

LOAA enjoyed an evening at the ballpark. We cheered on our home team, the Omaha Royals against the Nashville Sounds and ended the evening with a fantastic fireworks display. We look forward to seeing you at our next social event.
